Contributed papers
Contributed papers are intended to present complete descriptions of
finished work. Prospective authors should submit their papers
electronically in PDF format. Six pages in the standard CASE format
are allowed for each paper, including figures. A maximum of additional two pages is permitted at an extra overpage charge.

Proposals for a special session should be
submitted according to the instructions on the conference website.
Proposals should present topics from multiple viewpoints with unifying
themes in the emerging topics, industry and government initiatives in
automation such as, but not limited to, Automation in
Semiconductor/Display Manufacturing, Low Carbon Green Technology and
Automation, Automotive Manufacturing, Automation in Service
Industries, and Automation in Heavy Industries. Each proposal should
consist of a summary statement and six papers. Detailed instructions for proposal
submission can be found in the homepage.
Industrial papers

Industrial papers should highlight the current field-related
problems and recent developments in industries. Prospective authors,
especially from industries, should submit their papers electronically
in PDF format.
Industrial papers are limited to 4 pages (minimum 2 pages) and up to 6 pages maximum: a maximum of two additional pages is permitted at an extra overpage charge.
Paper from industry or joint collaborations between industry and academia are welcomed and encouraged.

Tutorials and workshops (link to CfP)

Tutorials and workshops should focus on topics of current interest
to the automation community. Proposals for half-day or full-day
tutorials and workshops should be submitted according to the
instructions on the conference website. Prospective organizers should
include: statement of objectives, intended audience, list of speakers,
and list of topics. Detailed instructions for proposal submission can be found in the homepage.
