    Welcome to CASE 2012 website

     The eighth annual IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (CASE 2012) will be held on August 20-24, 2012, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Seoul, Korea. IEEE CASE represents the flagship automation conference of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society. The conference aims to bring together researchers in automation from both industry and academia, together with industrial practitioners, to present and discuss the latest advances and developments in automation science and engineering.

     The 2012 Edition of IEEE CASE will place special emphasis on the themes of Automation in Semiconductor/Display Manufacturing, Low Carbon Green Technology and Automation, Automotive Manufacturing, and Automation in Heavy Industries, in addition to the traditional coverage of the latest advances in the Foundations of Automation, Automation at the Meso-, Micro-, and Nano-Scales, Information Automation, Automation in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences and Health Care, and Networked and Control Systems.

    Important Notice Regarding CASE2012 Publication and No Show Policy

     It is the policy of the conference that all accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings only if at least one of the authors from the paper makes a full registration. Each full registration covers a maximum of two papers. Furthermore, please be advised that the conference has a strict no show policy. In order for a paper to be included in the IEEE Xplore database, one of the authors or their representatives must attend the conference and present the paper. Failure to do so without valid reasons will prevent the paper from being included in the IEEE Xplore database.
